Vietnam to master vaccine technology
Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam has approved a program to ensure vaccine supply to 2030. It sets a target of, by that time, possibly mastering the technology to produce 15 types of vaccines, or least five types, with all meeting international standards.

PM asks Pfizer to provide vaccines for children shortly
During phone talks on February 15 with Mr. Albert Bourla, Chairman and CEO of Pfizer, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh asked the company to supply 22 million doses of vaccine for children from 5 to 12 years old in Vietnam as soon as possible and fulfill the supply contract in April or no later than May.

Switzerland providing ODA and medical equipment
Switzerland has affirmed it will continue to provide ODA to Vietnam in the 2021-2024 period in the fields of human resource training, urban development, poverty alleviation, and sustainable development. The country will also provide 500,000 Covid test kits, 300,000 face masks, 30 ventilators, and other medical equipment and supplies. The two countries will focus on cooperation in sustainable development, modern governance, human resources training, innovation, and digital transformation.
