Vietnamese businesses may benefit from Russia’s ability to expand to Asia
According to Mr. Nguyen Duy Ninh, General Director of the Ho Guom Group JSC and Deputy General Secretary of the Hanoi Business Association (HBA), limits being placed on Russia and the country’s ability to expand to Asia will present opportunities for Vietnamese businesses to penetrate deeper into the country. Vietnam’s tourism industry can also benefit, as Russians are unable to travel to some countries.

Difficulties for local businesses in penetrating into France
The weaknesses in building the image of Vietnamese goods and penetrating more deeply into the French market are down to businesses only targeting Vietnamese and Asian customers. Partners like supermarkets and retail distribution chains in France now have plans to increase the ratio of Vietnamese goods within their distribution network.
