An event hosted by JETRO Hanoi on September 12 acted as a bridge between Vietnamese startups and potential Japanese investors.

Startups will be given assistance in training, technology, and brand development.

Along with the opening of two new offices in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Golden Gate Ventures (GGV) signed a cooperation agreement on May 30 with the National Innovation Center (NIC) to promote the development of Vietnam’s startup and innovation ecosystem. Together with Singapore and Indonesia, Vietnam is considered part of the “Golden Triangle of Startups” in Southeast Asia.

The SK Group’s SK Startup Fellowship Batch 3 2022 (SKSF Batch 3) will provide sponsorship of $350,000 to Vietnamese startups. In addition to financial support, startups will also receive assistance in advanced management training, capital raising skills, and advanced mentoring, etc.

Local startups have retained their appeal amid Covid-19.
