Hanoi has set a target of disbursing over 95 per cent of all public investment allocated to the capital this year, according to local authorities.

It has so far disbursed VND28.1 trillion ($1.17 billion) this year, or 54.5 per cent of the annual target, according to the city’s Statistics Office.

To reach its target, Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Tran Sy Thanh has directed investors and authorities in districts and communes to take measures to accelerate the implementation of public projects to speed up disbursement.

They were also instructed to prepare detailed disbursement plans for each project in the third and fourth quarters of this year.
