While chairing the second meeting of the government’s Steering Committee on Administrative Reform on October 19, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh outlined eight key tasks in the process, including the development of digitalization in government, promoting the application of information technology and digital transformation, and improving the efficiency of State administrative agencies.
The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) held a seminar in Hanoi on September 28 on the results of the Public Administration Reform (PAR) Index 2021 and announced a decision to establish a Steering Committee for the PAR at the Ministry, led by Minister Le Thanh Long. MoJ topped 17 ministries in the PAR Index last year, and continues to identify administrative reform as a routine task.
