Vietnam imported nearly 8,400 completely-built-up (CBU) cars in the first 15 days of April, up 111 per cent against the second half of March. However, CBU imports since the beginning of the year are down sharply year-on-year, by 24 per cent in quantity and 18 per cent in value.
According to preliminary figures from the General Department of Vietnam Customs, the number of completely-built-up (CBU) motor cars imported into Vietnam during February rose 102.3 per cent compared to January. CBU imports of all kinds totaled 9,152 units in the month, worth $212 million.
