Vietnam's Airfare Inspection Reveals No Violations, But Room for Improvement
A recent inspection by the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) into airline ticket sales, pricing, and disclosures has found no violations of government regulations. However, the review highlighted inconsistencies in how airlines present fare information to consumers and a lack of awareness regarding promotional offers.

Vietnamese aviation still struggling
Director of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam Dinh Viet Thang said that in the past 10 months, the domestic aviation market has grown rapidly, but the international market has only recovered by about 50 per cent. Airlines and passenger transport providers still have to deal with the unfavorable problems left by the epidemic, especially the imbalance of cash flow in 2 years that freezes operations.

Upgrades to Con Dao Airport a step closer
According to the Ministry of Transport, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam has been assigned as investor of a project to upgrade Con Dao Airport and is now completing procedures to select contractors to carry out landmark planting work, which is expected to be done in the third quarter of this year.
