Le Van Luong - Ring Road 3 tunnel opens
The 475-meter Le Van Luong - Ring Road No. 3 tunnel in Hanoi opened on October 5. Costing nearly VND700 billion ($29.31 million), the tunnel will ease chronic congestion along the Le Van Luong - To Huu route. This is the fourth underground tunnel in the capital and the third along Ring Road No. 3.

Circular to resolve congestion at seaports
According to a draft Circular from the Ministry of Finance (MoF) on resolving congestion at seaports, there are many regulations relating to administrative procedures and the responsibilities and obligations of entities. The draft therefore needs to be specific and clear to ensure common understanding and convenient implementation.

Congestion at Cat Lai Port to be resolved
The Ministry of Industry and Trade has proposed six measures to address cargo congestion at Cat Lai Port in Ho Chi Minh City to avoid any impact on trade. The transfer of imported containers from regional ports will be suspended, and congested imported goods will be delivered to customers at the facilities of the Sai Gon Newport Corporation.
