Under the latest adjustments to development planning for Nha Trang to 2040, the beach city will become a national and international marine tourism hub.
On July 22, the Lac Duong District People’s Committee forwarded Report No. 104 to the Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee requesting appraisal and approval of tasks and cost estimates for the Da Sar - Da Nhim eco-tourism and luxury resort project in the central highlands’ province. The resort is to be built on an area of 467.56 hectares.
The Saigon Safari Park project in Ho Chi Minh City’s Cu Chi district sits on 456 ha, has total investment of $500 million, and has been planned since 2004 as a major eco-tourism area in Southeast Asia, but construction is still to begin. It has been proposed that the site be turned into a high-tech industrial park to attract investment and boost socio-economic development.
