Next generation of entrepreneurs need nurturing
Within the framework of the “Vietnam Excellent Brand Awards 2022” held by VnEconomy / Vietnam Economic Times, Dr. Vu Tien Loc, Chairman of the Vietnam International Arbitration Center (VIAC), said Vietnam needs to consider its business community as a pioneer in efforts to escape the “middle-income trap”. To build a leading business community, Vietnam cannot just promote a few enterprises and instead needs to nurture a generation of entrepreneurs.

PM pledges support as Entrepreneurs Day celebrated
The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) held a ceremony on October 12 to celebrate Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day (October 13) and honor outstanding local entrepreneurs. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh told the gathering that the government will create favorable conditions for entrepreneurs and businesses in all economic sectors to gain equal access to development resources. The non-State economic sector will be given favorable conditions to participate in the implementation of projects and works via public-private partnerships (PPPs).

PM: Government supportive of entrepreneurs
On the occasion of Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day on October 13, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh sent an open letter to businesses around the country. The letter stated that the Vietnamese Government and relevant agencies will step up institutional reform, remove difficulties and obstacles, mobilize resources, and reform administrative procedures, among other measures, to create an open and equal business environment for business development and international integration for entrepreneurs.
