Administrative procedures in maritime sector to be simplified
A draft decree from the Ministry of Transport (MoT) on business in the maritime sector will simplify and reduce the time needed to deal with administrative procedures and enhance the application of information technology to provide Level 4 online public services, helping businesses and cutting compliance costs.

Ministry of Public Security proposes amendments to Law on Citizen Identification
The Ministry of Public Security has proposed amending the Law on Citizen Identification to serve the settlement of administrative procedures, provide online public services, develop socio-economics, and serve digital citizenship. There will also be additional regulations on the issuance of identity certificates to stateless people who have lived stably and long-term in Vietnam.

Over 68% of MoF's online public services at Levels 3 and 4
The Ministry of Finance (MoF) has determined that providing online public services is a top priority in building e-government and the digital government. The ministry has completed the connection and integration of 355 of 518 online public services at Levels 3 and 4 on the National Public Service Portal, or 68.53 per cent. The ministry has set a target of, by 2025, 80 per cent of administrative procedures being processed entirely online.
