PM: Private economy an important driving force
During a working visit to north-central Nghe An province on July 23, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh commented that State-owned enterprises and private enterprises have contributed equally to GDP, but the latter attracts better workers and accounts for more than 80 per cent of jobs. It is necessary to continue to develop the private economy as an important driving force of the national economy.

Green agricultural growth requires private enterprise participation
According to Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Phung Duc Tien, if Vietnam wants to transform its agricultural production model into a green growth model with low emissions and climate change adaptation, it is necessary to have contributions from the private sector during implementation.
