According to the Management Board of the Land Fund Development Center in central Quang Binh province, total proceeds from the auction of land use rights throughout the province in the first half of 2022 reached nearly VND3.9 trillion ($167.76 million), up 104.5 per cent year-on-year.
Central Quang Binh province is speeding up site clearance for the construction of the Nhat Le 3 coastal road and bridge project. With a length of 85.4 km and total investment of VND2.2 trillion ($94.75 million), the project is expected to be completed in 2026 and help connect the coastal area of Quang Binh with the South Ha Tinh - North Quang Binh general economic zone, promoting the strengths of the local deep-water port cluster and creating links within the region and the country.
Central Quang Binh province plans to use nearly 89,000 sq m for a multi-functional area including a beachfront, a resort, and a mixed-use area for shopping, services, and hotels, with a capacity of catering to 5,000 people. It aims to welcome 2 million tourists this year.
