Specific mechanism for HCMC to be extended for another year
At a meeting on October 12, the National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee unanimously submitted to the legislature for consideration a proposal to allow Ho Chi Minh City to continue piloting its specific mechanism until December 31, 2023, and to introduce this content into the joint resolution from the fourth session of the NA, which is scheduled to start on October 20.

Specific mechanism for 5 major traffic projects
National Assembly (NA) Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue has spoken about the importance and implementation of a specific mechanism for five key national traffic projects submitted by the government to the NA on June 6. The projects are the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau, Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot, Chau Doc - Can Tho - Soc Trang, Ring Road No. 4 - Hanoi Capital Region, and Ring Road 3 - Ho Chi Minh City Expressways. He also said that these will be completed by 2025, creating a breakthrough in the country’s infrastructure.

NA to decide on specific mechanisms for Khanh Hoa
At its next meeting in May, the National Assembly (NA) is expected to adopt a resolution piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for south-central Khanh Hoa province. Approving partial adjustments to general planning on the construction of functional areas and the urban master plan approved by the Prime Minister is to be decentralized to the province.

Pilot of specific mechanism for law and ordinance development program to go to NA
On October 11, with the National Assembly Standing Committee agreeing to add three resolutions on specific mechanisms for Hai Phong city and Nghe An and Thua Thien-Hue provinces to the 2021 law and ordinance development program, the draft on the pilot specific mechanism for these three localities will be submitted to the National Assembly (NA) at the end of the month.
