National Assembly (NA) Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue is visiting the UK and attended a high-level seminar on economy and trade on June 30. Addressing the seminar, Deputy Prime Minister Le Van Thanh, who is accompanying the NA Chairman, said a target has been set of two-way trade turnover reaching $10 billion by 2023. According to Ms. Anne Marie Trevelyan, British Secretary of State for International Trade, trade relations with Vietnam play a very important role in the UK’s trade policy.
On June 28, during his official visit to Hungary, National Assembly (NA) Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue met with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban. The two sides are determined to increase trade turnover in a balanced and sustainable direction, create conditions for goods to access each other’s markets, and encourage businesses in the two countries to strengthen investment cooperation.
