$96mln IP to be built in Tay Ninh

Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai has approved the construction in the first phase of the Hiep Thanh Industrial Park (IP) in southern Tay Ninh province.

Total investment is estimated at VND2.35 trillion ($95.9 million).

It will cover 495.7 ha in Go Dau district.

The Tay Ninh Provincial People’s Committee said the province plans to develop IPs along National Highways No. 22 and 22B, the Ho Chi Minh Highway, and the Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai Expressway, to connect with economic centers in Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong province and to connect Tay Ninh, Binh Duong, and the Mekong Delta’s Long An province, under Tay Ninh’s master plan in the 2021-2030 period with a vision to 2050.

Many IPs have been established recently in the province following a land allocation quota approved by the Prime Minister, including the 190-ha Trang Bang IP, the 203-ha Linh Trung III IP, the 760-ha Thanh Thanh Cong IP, and the 2,190-ha Phuoc Dong IP.
