30ha industrial cluster to be built in Thanh Hoa
The reception of secondary investors is scheduled to start in the first quarter of 2028.
The Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has given the green light for the establishment of the Hoang Dong Industrial Cluster.
Spanning approximately 30 ha, this new industrial cluster is located in Hoang Dong commune, Hoang Hoa district.
The cluster will prioritize a diverse range of industries, including food production and processing, apparel and footwear manufacturing, machinery and auto parts production, and consumer goods. It will also focus on preserving and developing local industries and handicrafts.
Additionally, services such as warehousing, packaging, goods transportation, and equipment repair will be emphasized also.
Thanh Nam Construction and Trading Co., Ltd. has been approved as the infrastructure investor for the project, with a total estimated investment of approximately VND300 billion (nearly 12 million).
The construction of the infrastructure is slated to begin in the first quarter of 2026 and conclude by the end of the fourth quarter of 2027. Once completed, the land will be ready for secondary investors to lease for production and business activities.
The reception of secondary investors is scheduled to start in the first quarter of 2028. However, production projects will only commence operations after the infrastructure is fully completed.
According to the Thanh Hoa province’s master development plan for the period 2021-2030, with a vision extending to 2045, approved by the Prime Minister in 2023, the locality aims to establish 115 industrial clusters covering a total area of 5,267.25 ha by 2030.
