Action program on development and transition to cloud computing platforms approved
The program aims to promote the development and application of cloud computing.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung has signed a prime ministerial decision approving a national action program on development of and transition to cloud computing platforms for the 2025–2030 period, according to a report from the Government News.
According to Decision No.1121/QD-TTg, dated June 11, 2025, the program aims to promote the development and application of cloud computing to build a modern, advanced, secure, safe, synchronized, and sustainable digital infrastructure in Vietnam.
Under the program, all of government agencies will prioritize the deployment of new information systems and IT services on cloud computing platforms.
At least 70% of existing information systems and IT services of ministries, sectors, and localities will be assessed, classified, and switched to cloud computing environment.
All of government agencies and State-owned enterprises, 70% of private enterprises, and over 50% of the population will use cloud computing services provided by domestic companies.
All of national databases will be deployed on cloud computing platforms at the National Data Center in accordance with legal regulations, ensuring cybersecurity and information safety, and will be managed and operated in a stable and efficient manner.
At least three Made in Vietnam cloud computing platform products will be certified to meet international standards.
