American International Hospital & Raffles Medical Group sign strategic partnership
Two come together to boost management and specialized services.
The American International Hospital (AIH) unveiled a comprehensive strategic partnership agreement with Raffles Medical Group (Singapore) (RMG) on October 2, aimed at elevating the quality of healthcare services for patients.
RMG, one of the leading integrated private healthcare providers in the region, becomes a strategic partner to jointly oversee the administration and operation of AIH. Their primary objectives include enhancing the overall customer experience and optimizing specialized services such as Oncology and General Surgery.
As part of the cooperative arrangement, RMG commits to establishing and implementing rigorous quality management systems to ensure that services not only meet but surpass the expectations of clients and patients.
Dr. Loo Choon Yong, Executive Chairman of RMG, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership. “We are excited for the opportunity to partner with AIH,” he said. “The management of AIH has, in a few short years, completed important milestones, including building up a strong reputation for its services and attaining JCI accreditation. We are delighted to work with AIH to further build on its achievements. Coupled with our three ambulatory care facilities in Vietnam and facilities in the region, RMG is committed to offering a unique regional proposition: the Raffles and AIH brands of care and hospital services to meet patients’ diverse needs and preferences. Also, the AIH hospital management service contract positions RMG well and supports our ambition to be the healthcare providers of choice for people in the region.”
“Having the strategic partnership with a leading medical group in Asia such as Raffles Medical Group is a source of pride for us,” said Ms. Nguyen Thi My Linh, CEO of AIH. “Through this partnership, AIH will have an experienced international partner to help us increase competitiveness in the provision of high-quality healthcare services in Vietnam.”
