Binh Dinh province earns $1.1 bln from wood exports in 2024

The south-central province is one of four key wood processing centers in Vietnam.

Businesses in south-central Binh Dinh province earned nearly $1.1 billion from exporting wood and wood products in 2024, a year-on-year rise of 15%.

The figure accounts for 62% of the province’s total export revenue last year.

The province's wood industry also posted a significant growth in investment attraction in 2024, with 31 projects, totaling over VND3.37 trillion ($132 million), up 5.8% year-on-year.

The total number of enterprises operating in wood processing in the province increased to over 370 with a combined investment capital of more than VND30 trillion ($117 million).

They have created jobs for more than 30,000 workers.

Binh Dinh has maintained its position as one of the four key wood processing centers of the country.

The province targets $1.2 billion in export revenue of wood and wood products in 2025, a year-on-year increase of 7-10%.
