Ca Mau province to host trade mission and conference
The locality will highlight its seafood, rice, and processed food exports.
The Meking Delta province of Ca Mau will host a trade mission and conference on November 15-16, aimed at promoting local products and attracting international investment, the Voice of Vietnam reported
The mission, with the participation of representatives from foreign consulates in Ho Chi Minh City, trade bodies, and businesses, among others, will involve visits to seafood processing factories, OCOP product manufacturing facilities, and local specialty producers. The participants will have an opportunity to explore the local market, understand its needs and potential, and identify potential trade partnerships.
The conference will bring together representatives from Ho Chi Minh City - based foreign consulates, chambers of commerce, trade offices, and businesses, among others, to discuss trade opportunities and promote Ca Mau province's products. The province will highlight its seafood, rice, and processed food exports.
According to Mr. Le Van Ngoi, Chief of the Office of the provincial People's Committee, the event aims to promote Ca Mau province's image and development potential; strengthen trade connections and partnerships; develop high-tech agriculture; and create opportunities for local businesses to find more new markets for their products
