Construction of central highlands’ expressway sections to begin in Q3 and Q4
Sections form part of the expressway linking Lam Dong with southern Dong Nai province.
Construction of two sections of the Dau Giay - Lien Khuong Expressway project passing through the central highlands’ Lam Dong province and southern Dong Nai province is scheduled to commence in the third and fourth quarters of this year, according to the Lam Dong Transport Project Management Board.
The Tan Phu - Bao Loc section stretches 67 km and has total investment of more than VND17.2 trillion ($702 million) and is being built in the public-private partnership (PPP) form.
The Bao Loc - Lien Khuong section is 74 km long and has estimated investment capital of over VND19.5 trillion ($795 million).
With a total length of 201 km, the Dau Giay - Lien Khuong Expressway consists of three sections: Dau Giay - Tan Phu, Tan Phu - Bao Loc, and Bao Loc - Lien Khuong.
It will have four lanes with a roadbed width of 17 meters.
