Construction starts on $185-mln My An - Cao Lanh expressway
The expressway runs 27km through the Mekong Delta's Dong Thap province.

Construction of the first phase of the My An – Cao Lanh Expressway, a nearly 27-kilometer route running through the Mekong Delta’s Dong Thap province, began on July 27.
The project carries a total price tag of more than VND6.12 trillion ($232 million), including over VND4.46 trillion ($185 million) in official development assistance (ODA) loans from South Korea.
In the first phase one, a four-lane expressway designed for a maximum speed of 100 kph will be built, with completion expected by 2028.
Provincial authorities said the expressway is one of the key routes in Dong Thap and the wider Mekong Delta, forming part of an inter-regional strategic transport network expected to spur socio-economic development across the delta region.
