Cooperation agreements between Vietnam and Russia signed
The agreements reached during the State visit to Vietnam by President Vladimir Putin on June 19-20.
Following their talks in Hanoi on June 20, State President To Lam and Russian President Vladimir Putin witnessed the signing of 11 cooperation documents between the two countries.
The agreements include:
- Agreement between the Governments of Vietnam and Russia on cooperation in higher education.
- Cooperation program for the period 2024-2025 between the two Ministries of Justice.
- Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the roadmap for the implementation of the Nuclear Science and Technology Research Center in Vietnam between Vietnam's Ministry of Science and Technology and Russia's Rosatom State Atomiс Energy Corporation;
- MoU between the Vietnam-Russia Tropical Center and the Russian Federal agency on supervision, protection of consumer rights and welfare on cooperation in developing laboratory infrastructure for epidemic prevention;
- Grant of investment certificate for Zarubezhneft group;
- Scientific exchange cooperation agreement between Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences and the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA);
- Cooperation agreement between Hanoi University and RANEPA;
- Cooperation agreement between Vietnam National University-Hanoi and Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU);
- Cooperation agreement between Vietnam National University-Hanoi and Higher Schools of Economics (HSE);
- MoU on cooperation between Vietnam Oil and Gas Group and Novatek; and
- MoU between BVIM Fund Management Joint Stock Company and the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF).
