Corporate bond issuances hit record high in June

The total value of corporate bond issuances in June reached VND94 trillion ($3.57 billion), the highest value of a monthly issuance since 2022, according to the latest corporate bond market review released by VIS Rating.
The figure marks an increase of 36% compared to the previous month.
Of the total, private bank placements accounted for over 80%. By month-end, major commercial joint stock banks such as ACB, MBBank, and Techcombank had completed around 50% of their 2025 bond issuance plans.
In the non-financial sector, residential real estate dominated, with 81% of the issuances in the first half of the year coming from Vingroup and its affiliates.
VIS Rating report also showed that the overall recovery rate increased significantly by 2.3% to 34.1% in June from the previous month.
