Da Nang commits to creating best conditions for businesses

Central Da Nang city will create the best possible conditions for enterprises to promote production and trade, Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang has said.

He made the statement at a meeting with representatives from 300 businesses in the city on February 17.

In response to this year’s theme of unleashing resources, attracting investment, maintaining economic growth, and ensuring social welfare, he proposed that businesses speed up the application of information technology, improve administration capacity, abide by laws, work towards a green economy, and contribute opinions to the city’s development plans and projects.

Business representatives asked that city authorities be transparent in support policies and investment projects and adopt measures to tackle difficulties for businesses to gain access to preferential loans.

Da Nang has set a target of posting gross regional domestic product (GRDP) growth of 6.5-7 per cent this year.
