Da Nang Vietnamese Goods Fair 2024 opens

The Da Nang Vietnamese Goods Fair 2024 – Honoring OCOP products opened in the central city on June 6.

Some 123 businesses, organizations and individuals from Da Nang and 19 localities are showcasing various products at 200 booths.

Products on display at the six-day fair include goods in the fields of industry, agriculture, handicrafts, garments, footwear, fashion items, traditional village products, and products bearing regional characteristics, and related service products.

Notable at the fair is a display area exclusively for OCOP products made in the city and other localities nationwide .

Addressing the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Huu Hanh, Deputy Director of the city’s Department of Industry and Trade, said the event creates opportunities for businesses to promote their diversified products to boost market demand and attract tourists as well as help people to get access to high-quality products with reasonable prices.

On the sidelines of the fair, the municipal Department of Industry and Trade launched a promotional month to stimulate shopping demand in the city from June 6 to August 8.
