Ha Nam's digital economy ranks among Top 10 nationally

Ha Nam province was ranked among top 10 localities nationwide in terms of digital economy development in 2024.

The effective implementation of digital government, digital economy, and digital society projects has created a strong impetus, helping the northern province achieve a Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) growth rate of 10.93%—an impressive figure that places the province among those with the highest growth rates in the country.

Currently, Ha Nam has over 140 enterprises operating in the fields of information technology, electronics, and telecommunications, primarily concentrated in Phu Ly city and industrial parks. Additionally, approximately 2,800 enterprises in the province have adopted digital platforms, creating a solid foundation for the development of the digital economy.

The province has also strongly implemented e-tax policies, with 100% of active enterprises using e-tax declaration services, 99% implementing e-tax payments with banks, and 100% using e-invoices.

Furthermore, 100% of communes, wards, and towns have fiber optic and internet lines provided to villages and residential groups. The entire population is covered by 3G and 4G mobile services.

Mobile network operators are continuing to deploy 5G network coverage in the central areas of districts, towns, cities, and industrial zones and clusters. It is expected to be widely deployed throughout the province by 2025, thereby helping businesses and residents access the internet and transmit data faster.
