Ha Tinh licenses plywood production plant

The Ha Tinh Economic Zone Management Board in north-central Ha Tinh province has approved investment in the construction of a plant producing plywood for domestic consumption and export.

The project will cover 4.32 ha at the Gia Lach Industrial Park in Nghi Xuan district.

Investment capital stands at VND125 billion ($5.2 million).

The plant has a designed capacity of 50,000 cu m of products a year. The first phase is expected to be put into operation within two years of the investment being approved, and will have a capacity of 20,000 cu m of products, which will then increase to 30,000 cu m after one year.

The Gia Lach Industrial Park currently has ten projects with total investment of over VND825.9 billion ($34.4 million).
