HCM City hosts ASEAN Ceramics & Stone 2024
The event attracted over 300 exhibitors from countries including Italy, Germany, China, India, Thailand, and Vietnam.
The ASEAN Ceramics & Stone 2024 exhibition kicked off in Ho Chi Minh City on December 11, showcasing the latest machinery, equipment, and materials for the ceramics and stone industries, according to a report from the Vietnam News Agency.
Organized by the Vietnam Ceramic Association and its partners, the event attracted over 300 exhibitors from countries including Italy, Germany, China, India, Thailand, and Vietnam.
The exhibition, themed "Sustainability and Diversity through Innovation and Collaboration", highlights the industry's commitment to sustainable practices and technological advancements.
Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh emphasized the importance of the event in promoting trade, technology transfer, and investment cooperation.
The exhibition offers domestic companies a platform to explore innovative technologies to address challenges in energy consumption, raw material sourcing, labor costs, and environmental impact. Many participants are focusing on improving efficiency, reducing waste, and adopting green practices.
The event also includes workshops on industry trends and pressing issues, such as climate change and zero emissions, and resilience in the ceramics industry.
The event will conclude on December 13.
