Northern Hung Yen province targets to become a locality with modern industry by 2030, according to the provincial master planning in the 2021-2030 period with a vision to 2050, which has been approved under Prime Ministerial Decision No. 489/QD-TTg, signed by Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha on June 10.

To that end, it will develop large-scale industrial parks (IPs) with modern infrastructure, meeting international standards and sustainable development requirements.
Under the master plan, there will be a total of 30 IPs in the province by 2030, covering 9,589 ha.
Additional five IPs are expected to be built after 2030 with a total area of 2,460 ha.
Hung Yen is expected to have a GRDP growth rate of about 9.0% per year during 2021-2030.
