Investor sought for Ha Tinh's Ke Go Reservoir upgrade
Construction is expected to commence in November 2024 and be completed before the 2025 rainy season.
The Ke Go Reservoir in cemtral Ha Tinh province is set to undergo a significant upgrade and repair project. The Investment and Construction Management Board for Irrigation 4 under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development is currently seeking an investor to undertake the project.
The project, funded by the Central Government budget with an investment of over VND350 billion (approximately $13.8 million), aims to enhance the reservoir's safety and flood control capacity. The scope of work includes the upgrade and repair of the main dam, auxiliary dam, Doc Mieu spillway, emergency spillway, and the installation of new mechanical equipment.
Construction is expected to commence in November 2024 and be completed before the 2025 rainy season.
The Ke Go Reservoir, built in 1976 and has a capacity of 345 million cu.m, plays a vital role in providing water for agriculture, domestic use, and various industries in the region. However, due to years of operation, the reservoir's infrastructure has deteriorated, necessitating urgent upgrades.
