New bridge in Quang Ngai to open to traffic before next March
The 2.5-km bridge spanning Tra Khuc river has total investment capital of $33 million.
Construction of Tra Khuc 3 Bridge spanning Tra Khu River in south central Quang Ngai province is expected to complete and open to traffic before March next year, according to the province’s Transport Investment and Construction Project Management Board.
The bridge connects the center of Son Tinh district to the provincial road 623B.
Total investment capital for the 2.5-km bridge was estimated at VND850 billion ($33 million). Of the total, VND525 billion was sourced from the State budget. The remaining was from the provincial budget.
The project has progressed well ahead of schedule with some 90% of the project’s construction work having been completed.
This is the seventh bridge spanning the Tra Khuc River – the largest in the province.
