Nghe An province attracts $4.9 bln of FDI so far
The north central province was listed among the top ten localities in FDI attraction in Vietnam in 2022 and 2023.
As of November 2024, north central Nghe An attracted 147 FDI projects from 14 countries and territories with a total registered capital of nearly $4.9 billion.
It has drawn many corporations in production and supply in the electronic technology and green energy industries, such as Luxshare - ICT, Goertek, Everwin, JuTeng, Foxconn, Runergy, Shangdong, and Sunny.
The province was listed among the top ten localities in FDI attraction in Vietnam in 2022 and 2023.
It has become more attractive to foreign investors, thanks to its appropriate investment attraction strategies.
The province has established a series of platforms and ecosystems to welcome investors, particularly implementing "five readinesses" in terms of planning, essential infrastructure, investment land, human resources, supporting procedures for investors, and timely addressing any obstacles or difficulties related to investments.
Local authorities said FDI attraction is an important resource to help promote economic restructure and develop economic sectors as well as boost import and export activities.
