Northern Ninh Binh province posted export revenue of over $3 billion in the first 11 months of 2024, up 6.5% year-on-year, according to the provincial Statistics Office.
In November, the export turnover reached $261.5 million
Key export products in the 11-month period include footwear with export value of $884 million, camera and accessories $657.7 million, cement and clinker $844 million, garment and textile $299 million, electronic components $143.4 million and automobile spare parts $132.5 million.
The province also gained positive results in other economic indicators in the Jan-Nov period.
The index of industrial production surged 11.68% compared to the same period of 2023.
Total retail sales of consumer goods and services reached over VND74.1 trillion ($2.9 billion), up 26.1% year-on-year.
The province welcomed over 8.1 million tourists, a year-on-year increase of 30.4%. Total tourism revenue was estimated at nearly VND8.42 trillion ($330 million), up 39.3% year-on-year.
