Over 100,000 workers to be employed in Q1
The sector with the highest demand for recruitment is trade and services.

The Hanoi Employment Service Center estimates that businesses in the city will need approximately 100,000 to 120,000 workers in the first quarter of 2025.
Mr. Vu Quang Thanh, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Employment Service Center, stated that the sector with the highest demand for recruitment is trade and services. Additionally, the manufacturing, information technology, transportation, real estate, and healthcare sectors continue to "thirst" for personnel not only in this quarter but also in the following period.
"These are industries that can help workers quickly find jobs with many attractive benefits," Mr. Thanh said.
To support the recovery and development of the labor market, the Center will continue to coordinate with districts, towns, and cities in employment resolution activities, disseminating and providing timely market information to businesses and workers. Emphasis will be placed on improving the analysis and forecasting of the labor market in both the short and long term regarding the capital's human resources.
The Center will continue to improve the operational efficiency of job fairs and sessions, providing effective, quick, and convenient support for job placement. This will help successfully connect workers, especially unemployed workers and those receiving unemployment insurance, to find suitable jobs early.
It is expected that in February 2025, the Center will organize 12 job fairs.
