Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long has signed a Prime Ministerial decision, approving a project for "Training and Development of Human Resources for Nuclear Power Development until 2035".

The project aims to meet the human resource needs for the Ninh Thuận 1 and Ninh Thuận 2 nuclear power plants by 2030, with a total of 3,900 university-level (engineers, bachelors) and college-level personnel, including 670 trained abroad.

Short-term training and internships on specialized skills in nuclear power plant management and operation will be provided for officials, civil servants, public employees, and experts working in ministries, sectors, training institutions, and research centers, benefiting approximately 700 individuals.

Knowledge updates will be offered to lecturers, researchers, and technicians currently teaching at universities, research institutes, and colleges specializing in nuclear power, covering around 450 people.

During the 2031-2035 period, human resource training and development will be adjusted based on the actual workforce needs of the nuclear power plants.
