PM attends Ho Chi Minh City Economic Forum
The forum held under the theme "Industrial transformation, a new driving force for sustainable development of HCM City".
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the opening ceremony of the 5th Ho Chi Minh City Economic Forum (HEF) in the southern city on September 25.
The forum was held under the theme "Industrial transformation, a new driving force for sustainable development of HCM City”.
At the plenary session, delegates look at reports on major topics, including global trends in industrial transformation, the governance ecosystem and policies to promote industrial transformation, industrial transformation strategy for HCM City, the role of the Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) in HCM City linked to industrial transformation, and cooperation potential between Vietnam and the US in industrial transformation to serve sustainable and green growth.
Particularly, PM Chinh is scheduled to deliver a speech at a policy dialogue later the same day. It will provide an opportunity for localities and businesses to discuss with the Government leader and authorities of localities about the current state and solutions for implementing industrial transformation models in HCM City as well as national strategic issues.
The C4IR will be launched on the same day on the sidelines of the event. at the presence of PM Pham Minh Chinh.
