PM calls for continued efforts to tackle difficulties facing businesses and individuals
Prime Minister chairs government meeting following Tet.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has instructed ministries, sectors, and localities to continue coordinating closely and effectively to tackle difficulties facing businesses and individuals while perfecting regulations, mechanisms, and policies to mobilize all resources for national development, the Government News has reported.
Chairing a government meeting on February 15, the first working day after the Tet (Lunar New Year) holiday, to review the Tet situation and launch certain tasks, Prime Minister Chinh asked for continued efforts to promote production and business activities and to create jobs and livelihoods.
Regarding the Tet situation, representatives from ministries, agencies, and localities reported that the supply of Tet goods was ensured, with quality and stable prices.
During the seven-day holiday, the country catered to 10.5 million domestic tourists, a rise of 16.6 per cent compared to Tet in 2023. Some localities welcomed foreign cruise tourists during the holiday; a sign of a good year to come in attracting international visitors.
