PM: Promoting digital transformation requires appropriate strategies
Correct approach needed to get the most out of the process, PM tells digital transformation committee meeting.
Digital transformation must have a strategic vision as well as an appropriate approach to build the most effective national digital transformation program and plan, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh told the first meeting of the National Committee on Digital Transformation, held online on November 30.
The Prime Minister, who is also Chairman of the Committee, noted that digital transformation must involve a breakthrough vision and appropriate measures based on reality. Digital transformation must also be highly efficient and widespread, bringing benefits to businesses around Vietnam.
It will also have a major impact on the population, so people must be at the center and drive the process forward. All people as well as businesses need to participate fully in the process.
Monitoring, measuring, and evaluating the effectiveness of digital transformation must be strengthened further. It is also necessary to strengthen information and communications work to find consensus so that people and businesses join hands with authorities. The relationship between the State, the market, and society to promote digital transformation must also be stronger.
Technology and administrative reform need to be developed in a harmonious, reasonable, and coherent way, while digital transformation requires innovation and creativity. In terms of the national digital transformation plan in 2022, the Prime Minister suggested that ministries, branches, and localities be determined to carry out tasks and create breakthroughs in the most effective manner possible.
