PM requests to remove legal obstacles to mobilize resources for development
Many legal documents failing to meet reality.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested for measures to remove legal obstacles to mobilize resources for development while chairing the Government’s meeting on law building on June 13.
He asked to seriously make a strategic breakthrough in the building and perfection of institutions.
The PM noted that the situation is changing fast and unpredictably, so many legal documents have failed to keep up with those changes or match the reality. Therefore, it is necessary to constantly overhaul mechanisms and policies.
He required relevant ministries and agencies to continue simplifying administrative procedures and business conditions and reduce bureaucracy and compliance cost for people and enterprises.
The meeting discussed the draft revised Law on Chemicals, the draft law amending and supplementing some articles of the Law on Advertising, and another amending and supplementing some articles of the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations.
