Quang Tri to revoke licenses of delayed tourism projects
Central province will create conditions for attracting investment into new projects.
The Quang Tri Provincial People’s Committee has decided to withdraw the investment licenses of certain tourism projects experiencing prolonged delays and introducing new planning schemes and attracting investment in other projects of potential.
Projects being revoked include the construction of the Khe May River eco-tourism site in Dong Ha city, on a total area of over 241 ha, which was approved on June 11, 2012.
Another is a service and tourism area in Vay village in Huong Hoa district, on 65 ha. The project was approved on August 15, 2005.
The committee also decided to cancel plans by the My Thuy International Port Joint Venture to build a cement plant, which was approved in June 2019.
