Singaporean firms express interests to expand investment in Vietnam

Party General Secretary To Lam received representatives of outstanding enterprises in Singapore on March 11, as part of his ongoing visit to the city state from March 11-13.

They include leaders from Shangri-La Healthcare Investment, Hoa Lam Shangri-La Medical Co., Ltd, Temasek Holdings, Sembcorp Industries, Real Estate Division of Keppel Corporation, CMIA Capital Partners, and the Singapore Business Federation (SBF).

At the meeting, Singaporean enterprises expressed their desire to expand investment and operation in Vietnam, particularly in the fields of health technology, hi-tech and quality medical equipment production, renewable and green energy, green infrastructure, information technology, and smart city development.

Party leader Lam valued their investment in Vietnam and noted that Vietnam will continue to reform administrative procedures and support businesses in their investment activities in Vietnam.

He highlighted the priority to large-scale foreign direct investment (FDI) projects to drive innovation and economic progress.
