Vietnam needs to increase the proportion of electric vehicles to reach its target of zero emissions.

While electric cars are not yet popular in Vietnam, the country plans for them to completely dominate the market by 2045. Problems in infrastructure must therefore be addressed and a mechanism to encourage sales introduced.
