TCMS, Motrex and Zalo AI cooperate to bring Kiki assistant to South Korean vehicles
Deal to integrate Kiki into the entertainment system produced by Motrex.

The Thanh Cong Motor Infrastructure and Service Joint Stock Company (TCMS), the Motrex Co., Ltd (South Korea), and Zalo AI have signed a strategic partnership deal on integrating Vietnamese assistant Kiki into the entertainment system produced by Motrex. The parties expect to complete the development process in the second quarter of 2023 and hope to bring the product to market soon.
The IVI (In Vehicle Infotainment) system on vehicles manufactured by Motrex will be integrated with the Vietnamese voice assistant Kiki in controlling the volume, guiding navigation, and performing voice requests such as playing music, giving directions, and so on. The parties also agreed to seek and expand cooperation in other products in the future, aiming for long-term cohesion such as deeper integration with Zing MP3 and Zalo.
Motrex will coordinate with Zalo AI’s engineering team to configure the Kiki assistant to be most compatible with the IVI system manufactured by Motrex to ensure this integration truly brings a good experience to customers.
At the signing ceremony, Mr. Kim Junseon, CEO of Motrex Korea, said this is an important moment in the technological shift in automotive products both in terms of engines and infotainment systems. Trends in user experience are gradually changing. With the integration of smart assistant Kiki, users will have a convenient and optimal experience on their driving journey.
Mr. Nguyen Trong Van, COO of Kiki, said the cooperation will bring many long-term and sustainable values. Users will receive more practical benefits when there is no need to spend extra costs and can still experience the smart utilities available.
This strategic cooperation also demonstrates the foresight of the parties and is a new milestone for Motrex and TCMS in conquering the Vietnamese car market, demonstrating the high localization content in the product in response to the increasing demands of Vietnamese drivers.
The deal shows the effort to develop a localized IVI system integrated with a Vietnamese assistant. The strategy revolves around the urgent and common needs of users and businesses in Vietnam.
