Thai Binh targets becoming industrial hub of Red River Delta
Northern province’s latest master plan to 2050 has been approved by the government.
Northern Thai Binh province targets becoming an industrial development hub of the Red River Delta region by 2030 under its master plan to 2050, announced by the Thai Binh Provincial People’s Committee on March 5.
Focus will be placed on boosting the development of seaports, energy, entertainment services, the pharmaceutical industry, airports, and railways.
The province will earmark land funds to develop its industrial-urban-services space and build a comprehensive and modern urban system.
Addressing the announcement ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang said the master plan will open up new development opportunities for Thai Binh.
The provincial People’s Committee also granted investment licenses to nine projects with total capital of around VND10 trillion ($408 million) at the ceremony.
