Thanh Hoa sees positive results in 5M public capital disbursement

North-central Thanh Hoa province posted positive results in the disbursement of public investment capital in the first five months of the year, totaling over VND3.7 trillion ($156 million), according to the provincial Department of Planning and Investment.

The figure is equivalent to 28.4 per cent of the assigned target and is 7.6 per cent higher than the national average.

There are 43 projects completing 100 per cent of disbursement, with total capital of nearly VND285 billion ($12 million).

Total public investment capital allocated to Thanh Hoa in 2023 is more than VND13.5 trillion ($570 million).

However, some projects still faced slow disbursement due to difficulties relating to site clearance and resettlement and rising construction material costs.
