TripAdvisor: Two central region beaches in Asia’s top 10
An Bang and My Khe beaches ranked fifth and sixth on the list, respectively.
An Bang Beach in central Quang Nam province and My Khe Beach in central Da Nang city have been named among the top 10 best beaches in Asia by readers of renowned travel website TripAdvisor.
An Bang Beach ranked fifth while My Khe Beach ranked sixth, the Government News reported.
An Bang boasts an array of attractions, with powder-white sand, blue skies, and stunning views, the website highlighted.
Meanwhile, My Khe Beach checks all the boxes for those wanting a relaxing day at the beach, boasting powdery-soft sand, gentle surf, and coconut trees swaying in the breeze, according to TripAdvisor.
About 12.6 million international tourists visited Vietnam in 2023, a 3.4-fold increase against 2022, figures from the General Statistics Office (GSO) show.
The country welcomed 1.5 million foreign visitors in January, up 73.6 per cent compared to January last year.
It targets attracting 17-18 million foreign tourists in 2024.
