Vietbuild Da Nang exhibition opens up investment opportunities

More than 180 domestic and foreign businesses showcased products at the Vietbuild International Exhibition in central Da Nang City.

The five-day event, which wrapped up on May 13, displayed a wide range of products in the construction industry, including building materials and exterior-interior decoration.

Many activities were held on the sidelines of the exhibition such as business-to-business exchanges and business forum, creating opportunities for businesses to transfer technology, share experience and seek investment cooperation.

The event contributed to trade promotion, technology renewal, branding development and support for businesses to recover and develop trade and production, according to Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh.

Vice Chairman of Da Nang’s People’s Committee Tran Chi Cuong said the economy of Da Nang in the first quarter of 2024 gained positive results and the city has attracted many investors.

The exhibition was an opportunity for domestic and foreign construction firms to seek cooperation to invest and expand operation in Da Nang and the central region, he said.
