Vietnam Airlines & MobiFone team up to boost digital transformation

National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines signed a strategic cooperation agreement for the 2023-2028 period with the MobiFone Telecommunications Corporation on February 14. The agreement will boost the potential and strengths of the two leading enterprises in the fields of aviation and telecommunications and information technology, creating favorable conditions for them to expand their business and develop sustainably.

Vietnam Airlines will build its digital infrastructure such as cloud computing, domestic and international connection infrastructure, and dedicated public telecommunications networks applying 4G and 5G technology, while MobiFone will help it with deploying digital platforms and digital solutions in operations management and customer services, and gradually implement Vietnam Airlines’ digital transformation strategy. The national flag carrier will also provide preferential aviation products and services to MobiFone employees, families, partners, and customers.

I believe the strategic cooperation will promote efficiency, open up new opportunities, and bring new success to both sides. This is an important basis for us to move towards more extensive cooperation in the future.”
